Equine Reiki/Healing
Reiki/Healing, complimentary therapies to treat and care for the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of both the Horse and Rider.
Equine Reiki, also known as Horse Healing, is a safe, gentle non-invasive hands-on healing therapy that balances the energy flow throughout the body. Reiki works on the electromagnetic energy field around the body, stimulating and accelerating the horse's natural healing process.
Horses are particularly responsive to Reiki whether the treatment is for stress/anxiety, behavioural problems, illness/injury, or simply as a calming treatment prior to an event. In addition to healing and relaxation, Reiki can be given to increase energy levels for endurance as part of a program ideally suited to Racing, Eventing, Polo, Show Jumping, Dressage, Endurance and Hunt sports. Reiki can be given at any time and location providing the horse is in a safe environment.
I travel throughout the UK and Ireland and can visit a location of your choice at a date and time convenient to you, whether on a location meet or home stable, details of which are on the Appointments Page.
Reiki for Riders follows the same principle as for the Horse. Anxiety, Stress and Injury can prove difficult whether it prevents your enjoyment of riding or adds further pressure in an already hectic lifestyle. Reiki and what happens during a session is described in detail on the About Reiki page.
A lifelong love of Horses has allowed me to understand and respect these magnificent, intelligent and highly intuitive animals. Equine Reiki, Psychology and Communication has enabled me to work with horses by applying a gentle yet effective approach, where the horse is a happy and willing partner.
I am a Reik III Master and Practitioner and a member of the UK Reiki Federation with public liability insurance to practice both Equine and Human Reiki. I am a behavioural Psychologist and am currently studying Intelligent Horsemanship (Horse Whispering) and Equine Massage.
